About Trout Lake Campground
This small campground has private tent sites close to the lake with access to a fishing dock. There is a small boat launch and the lake is noncombustible motors only. The campground also hosts the [Hoodoo Canyon Trail 17 Trail Head.](http://www.fs.usda.gov/recarea/colville/recarea/?recid=67990) This is a 4.7-mile hiking trail that also intersects the Emerald Lake 94 hiking trail. Wildlife has been seen frequently at the lake which includes moose and whitetail deer. This area is frequently used by fishermen, hikers, and hunters.
