About Magpie Campground
This campground is heavily wooded with mostly cottonwood trees and other river-bottom types of vegetation. The South Fork of Ogden River flows adjacent to the campground. Firewood is available from the on-site Host. Popular local recreation activities include fishing, hiking, swimming and tubing down the South Fork Ogden River (a life jacket is required for all tubers). Causey Reservoir, a scenic mountain lake, is five miles east.
