About White Rock Campground

Hidden deep within a dense ponderosa pine forest, this campground is located on the southeast edge of [Mill Creek Wilderness](http://www.fs.usda.gov/recarea/ochoco/recreation/hiking/recarea/?recid=79448&actid=50). The campground is walking distance from the [Wildcat South Trailhead](http://www.fs.usda.gov/recarea/ochoco/recarea/?recid=80946). On the way to the campground, you will pass the [White Fir Springs](http://www.fs.usda.gov/detail/ochoco/recreation/?cid=stelprd3825806) agate beds that are popular for rockhounding, but otherwise there are few developed recreational draws to the area, which makes it the perfect place to have your own forest adventure. **The final mile into the campground is a rough section of road. High-clearance 4WD vehicles are recommended.** Visit our [Rocks & Minerals page](http://www.fs.usda.gov/activity/ochoco/recreation/rocks-minerals) for more information…
