About Meyers Creek Cabin

Meyers Creek Cabin is located in the western part of the Beartooth Ranger District. Meyers Creek Cabin is an historic ranger station which has been used by the Forest Service since 1906. From that time until the mid-1960's the cabin was the headquarters for the Stillwater District. The cabin continues to be used today by the Forest Service, though it is available for rent each summer in the months of May, June, and July. - [Meyers Creek Area Trail Map](http://www.fs.usda.gov/Internet/FSE_DOCUMENTS/stelprd3830342.pdf) The cabin is accessible by vehicle, but 4-wheel drive is recommended during wet weather. There are many options for hiking in the area, including the [Meyers Creek Trail](http://www.fs.usda.gov/recarea/custergallatin/recarea/?recid=61389) ( 27), which begins near the cabin.
