About Ute Heart Trailhead

* The Ute-Heart Trail No. 1110 is generally not reachable or melted off until late June/early July due to snow levels at this elevation. This one way 6.85 mile ATV trail is very narrow and rocky with uneven terrain making it a difficult, technical trail that is best for experienced riders. In addition, the trail also has steep drop-off's that offer beautiful vista views of the Bear Corridor. The trail begins by descending down for the first .2 miles where you will cross a narrow bridge that is 50 inches wide, however, it is important to note that the bolts and hardware on the inside of the bridge which only offers a 48 inch width which can make it tight to cross. For that reason, it is only passable for OHV's and ATVs that are less than 50 inches wide. The bridge crosses a very small area of the Bear River before starting it's upward climb gaining a good deal of elevation for the next…
