About Morrison Divide South Trailhead

This Trailhead serves as one of two access points to the Morrison Divide Trail No. 1774. This 13.3 mile route climbs Green Ridge and grants access to the Muddy Slide overlook at an elevation of 10,258 feet. This stopping point offers spectacular views of the Morrison Creek Valley to the East and overlooks the Muddy Slide, a historic landslide. The trail experiences heavy ATV/OHV use during hunting season and is popular with hikers and mountain bikers during summer months. **This trail is closed to any vehicles over 50” in width.** Please tread lightly and do not ride off the designated route. Parking is limited at this location. Restrooms and potable water can be found nearby at [Lynx Pass Campground](https://www.fs.usda.gov/recarea/mbr/recreation/recarea/?recid=23044&actid=29).
