About Sycamore Campground

[](http://www.fs.usda.gov/Internet/FSE_DOCUMENTS/fseprd1176571.pdf) Located on the west side of the Chiricahuas at 6,200 ft. elevation, Sycamore Campground straddles the banks of West Turkey Creek. Turkey Creek is a small perennial stream that cascades into the campground down a series of small waterfalls and through a rocky cleft decorated with wildflowers in spring and summer. **NOTE:**Black bear area. Store and dispose of all food in bear-proof containers and trash bins, or keep it locked in your vehicle with windows all the way up.
